The frame we use is an "engineered" composite with a wood-grain veneer. We find this wood source to be attractive, affordable, and environmentally responsible. Our frame is not made in China; it is made in the USA by Framerica, one of the few remaining domestic moulding manufacturers.

The frame is 1 3/8" wide, 3/4" deep, and is walnut colored. Corners are glued and joined with back nails.
